Municipal Secretariat for Support to the National Village Development Program
Article 21.º.
Mission
Municipal Service Support to the National Village Development Program is a service of the Municipal Authority whose mission is to provide technical and administrative support to the President of the Municipal Authority and to other organs and services of the Municipal Authority in the planning, execution and evaluation of the implementation of the National Village Development Program.
Article 22.º.
Tasks
The Municipal Support Service for the National Village Development Program is responsible for:
- Implement the National Village Development Program in the municipality;
- Define and coordinate the technical and administrative support to be provided to the Village Structures of the National Village Development Program, in coordination with the Technical Secretariat of the National Village Development Program;
- Provide, in coordination with the Local Support Services for the National Village Development Program of the Administrative Post Administrations and with the Technical Secretariat of the National Village Development Program, technical and administrative support to the Village Structures of the PNDS;
- Formulate proposals for projects to be subsidized by the National Village Development Program and present them to the President of the Municipal Authority;
- Promote the physical and financial execution of projects financed by the National Suco Development Program;
- Prepare reports on the progress of the physical execution of projects financed through the National Village Development Program;
- Promote monitoring and evaluation of the execution of projects financed by the National Village Development Program;
- Perform other duties within the framework of the National Village Development Program, assigned to it. determined by superiors and which is not the responsibility of any other body or service of the Municipal Authority.
